Please write an essay that answers the question:
What is a book? Your writing should be as clear as possible and
should use specific terms, time periods and people. Your essay
should have a paragraph dedicated to each of the following topics:

function
form
content
authenticity or accuracy of contents
portability
preservation/longevity
sequence
The second and final portion of the essay
should reflect on your first homework assignment. How has knowledge
of the history of the book altered or re-enforced
that opinion/definition.
